Location and Directions

Isle of Palms is just 25 minutes from the Charleston airport or downtown Charleston. Wild Dunes resort is located at the northern end of the island, away from the public beaches and local traffic. Downtown Charleston and the surrounding islands provide a wealth of historic sightseeing, shopping, and wonderful restaurants.

Directions:

From either north or south of Charleston, take Highway 17 towards Mt. Pleasant. Take the 526 Connector east towards Isle of Palms. At the first light on the island, take a left onto Palm Boulevard.**

From Columbia, SC, or the Charleston Airport, take I-26 towards Charleston. Take I526 North towards Mt. Pleasant. Take the Georgetown Exit (#29), and at the light, continue straight across onto Hungry Neck Blvd. After passing the Mt. Pleasant Town Centre on the left, turn right onto 526 Connector and follow it over the Inter Coastal waterway onto the Isle of Palms. At the first light on the island, take a left onto Palm Boulevard.**

**Palm Blvd. will bend first to your right, straighten out, and eventually will bend to the left, take the right lane and make a right turn to continue on Palm Boulevard. The Wild Dunes Resort entrance will be on your left. After passing through the gate, stay on Palmetto Drive until you drive through a four-way stop. Take the next right hand turn towards the Boardwalk Inn. Turn right onto Grand Pavilion Blvd. and take an immediate left. You will enter the Grand Pavilion, Boardwalk Villas community, and our home is #105 on the right hand side.
